MOOD was founded by the former, award-winning editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan. She approached her fashion director and together they formed this creative agency. Our People

Holly Meadows, founder.

The former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan and deputy editor of ELLE, Holly has a wealth of experience in conceptualising, pitching and publishing campaigns for advertising clients. She headed up the commercial content studio at Associated Media Publishing and won best marketer in the 2019 IAB Bookmarks Awards. Having led branded content marketing projects for big international brands like Netflix, Estée Lauder, Nissan and GUESS, she has over a decade of experience in the media and advertising industry. In her time at COSMO Holly spearheaded many firsts including publishing the brand’s first-ever transgender cover star, staging a protest to end tampon tax, and launching the brand’s first-ever green issue in partnership with the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). Holly is happiest working with clients to effect change for good.

Cleopatra Marcopoulos, co-founder.

Cleo is the former group fashion director of Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping, and co-founder and creative director of the fashion rental platform, Style Rotate. She is an innovative thinker, doer and content addict, with nearly a decade of experience in the fashion and media industries. Cleo has produced content marketing campaigns for many brands including Old Khaki, Calvin Klein, Pandora, Forever New and Foschini. Her work has been syndicated by global editions of Cosmopolitan, including the United States, British and Dutch editions. She has styled and creative directed some of South Africa’s most famous celebrities and talents, including Nomzamo Mbatha, Bonang Matheba, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Pearl Thusi. Cleo is passionate about empowering women and she recently co-founded The CORA Project, a project that aims to combat period poverty in South Africa.
