Tekkie Town - part of Pepkor Holdings Limited - sells branded footwear, apparel and accessories to fashion-conscious, smart-choice customers. With the widest store footprint of its kind in Southern Africa, Tekkie Town brings top global footwear brands to new and existing local markets. Mood was tasked to conceptualise and execute an influencer marketing campaign to launch the international sneaker brand, Airwalk, as a new Tekkie Town offering. The six-week campaign consisted of a three-phase approach leveraging the following of fifteen influencers. Creators seeded the arrival of the brand with unboxing videos, showcased the brandβs in-store presence with shopping haul videos, and educated new consumers on the productβs versatility with styling videos. The campaign successfully generated an earned media value of R610 200, a 510,3% ROI and a total reach of 385K.
